Let’s hit a hot spot in Tiverton, RI. Baja’s Cat Café. cats and coffee.

     If you own pets, or if you’re like me and don’t have any, it doesn’t matter! This café is so fun to visit! My kids and I have a blast here when we come. Let me tell you, if you get that urge for fur, these adorable kitties will hit your spot! You can grab yourself a treat and a coffee (I love their personal touches in their menu) sit down with at the tables and have conversations with your friends and kids.

     They sell merch at the counter which I love! If you don’t want to chill with the kitty-cats, you don’t have to go into their special room. But! If you do, you can make a reservation to head on in for a half hour. It’s affordable and a great way to interact with the cats!

     You do have to take your shoes off before heading in the special room. So if you’re self-conscious like me, I would make sure your socks are not holy and maybe match haha! They do have some rules to follow, but it’s completely understandable and easy to follow. They have a French door to enter. While waiting our turn, one of the kitties sat itself and started mewing and couldn’t wait for our attention. So cute! 

     When you do enter the cat room, they have toys for the kitties, couches for you to sit on, and a binder on the shelf. This binder contains the names and info on all the adoptable cats in the room. One kitty in the room is actually not adoptable. Her name is Kiki. She’s a beautiful Persian that is the cafes mascot! This room is so clean and plays soft background music. My son and I have so much fun in this room! I can pet the kitties that come up to me, and my son can play with other kitties with toys.
