Ice skating hot spot in Rhode Island.
Rhode Island is a beautiful State with so much to offer for all four Seasons. Winter is here. We don’t want to sit inside and
wait for the warm weather. Especially the kids. Lets skate right into this hot spot located in Providence, Rhode Island. Here in Providence, BankNewport City Center is located in the perfect spot. When I come here with the kids, I’m able to park in the Providence Place Mall parking garage. It’s only a few bucks to park there. Also, it’s a very short walk from the garage to the rink. There is also street parking, but I get stressed out with the parking meters, so I just feel better parking in the garage.
In my opinion, I feel like skating here is like skating at a mini Rockefeller Center. The scenery of the tall historic buildings all around while skating. Just like New York City – Oh it’s beautiful. Before or after you skate, you can make your way up to the food court in the Providence Place Mall. The food court is on the top level. This skating rink has a lot to offer. This rink has year round activities. But we are here this month to talk about skating. You can make reservations online for ice bumper cars and ice skating. For the little ones that are inexperienced in skating, they actually have penguin and snowmen aids you can rent. I rent them for both my kids and they are so helpful.
